A good quality instrument is always a good start & I would advise against Budget guitar/amp starter packs & invest in the best guitar possible...within your Budget
Practise is paramount, but practise well with good imformation behind you..
As a beginner learn chords & scales correctly & don't skip on quality, start as you mean to go on..
Play chord progressions / Scales slowly allowing you to detect problems & improve your technique, speed will come with time...
Rhtymn takes time to master for some so start basic & slowly & keep it simple...
Your pick hand is just as important as your playing hand...play with dynamics & practise
